I'm going to give this place my honest and transparent review. For starters, Some of the very best service I've had in a really long time. So kind and attentive. Offering the best options and grateful for any feedback. The food was fantastic. Hands down some of the best fried tomatoes out there. Give them a shot. They are lightly breaded BUT with the seasoning they use, you don't actually need much breading and the breading has a fantastic crunch. But not the tomato's. They are perfecting cooked. Not too fleshy but not to soft either. I was also quite surprised at how good the blackened shrimp was. I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't that. It was spectacular. The shrimp were way bigger than expected and seasoned to perfection, and you get plenty. I paired the blackened shrimp with the grilled veggies, and you cannot go wrong with them. Also perfectly seasoned but not over cooked to where they have no bite. Then the macaroni. Oh, the macaroni. I have no ideas how many cheeses they have in that heavenly Mac. It's beautiful with the spiral noodles and then the FLAVOR. it'll smack you right in the face. It's PHENOMENAL. I will be back. I give this place my best 10/10 rating. Will lightly touch on the sweet tea being perfect and the cheese cake being out of this world also. Just so so good. Give it a try

First time visiting this lovely diner. Loved the food and atmosphere. I got the Catfish nuggets with fries for 9.89. I'm bringing my mom next week.

Had a great late lunch there. It was our first time and from the moment we walked in the door we had exceptional service! "Miss D" took care of us! We had fried chicken that was crispy and delicious. Corn bread that was some of the best ever. No exaggeration! The sides were great too. I had a Big Mouf double patty burger. It was cooked perfectly and had all the trimmings. We ended up with a go box for the chicken and sides. It was a great deal, $10.99 for 3 pieces of your choice and 2 sides plus cornbread. Try BJ's, it's worth the drive!

The absolute best stop on our road trip from Houston to Tennessee. We had burgers, catfish, hush puppies (onion), shrimp, fries, mac and cheese, and potato salad. It was all amazing. Coming from folks who grew up and live on the Texas Gulf Coast - the seafood was fresh and so delicious. You have got to stop here if given the chance.

Food is fantastic! Everything was cooked fresh to order and large well seasoned portions. The fried catfish had a nice crispy coating and flaky inside. It was chefs kiss! The waitress was funny and attentive. Would highly recommend!!!

I've had the pleasure of eating here on several occasions! I am never disappointed!! The food is delicious, the service is great! I always feel welcomed upon entering the building. I've had several menu items but the fish and the homemade fries are by far my favorite! I do plan on visiting again soon!!
